Yorba Linda is an affluent suburban community in northeastern Orange County, California, approximately 13 miles northeast of Downtown Santa Ana, and 40 miles southeast of Yorba_Linda_LibraryDowntown Los Angeles. In 2005 CNN ranked Yorba Linda 21st among the best places in the U.S. to live. Similarly, in an article by CNN Money, Yorba Linda was one of the richest U.S. cities and the highest in Orange County as reported by the Census data, showing median household income of over $120K. Yorba Linda is also known for its great schools and have several schools in the district that have received the California Distinguished School award, which is given to schools with qualifying marks in test scores, application, and visitation. Although Yorba Linda does have some expensive real estate, they also offer options for first-time homebuyers and those seeking a condo or townhouse.
